Mba Chukwuemeka, a suspected cult kingpin of the Vikings confraternity, has been arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS), the Enugu State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu, said in a statement on Wednesday.
Amarizu said Chukwuemeka was arrested by the operatives on Tuesday, October 8.
The statement said that the police also nabbed some other suspected members of the Vikings confraternity.
It listed the suspects as
Ndubisi Agu,
Ugochukwu Nnadi,
Ani Chigbo,
Onah Chukwuebuka,
Onyeka Okeke,
Okwor Amaefuna,
Orji Anayo
Ofor Ogbonna.
Similarly, the command said it had arrested one Uchola Godwin of Obale Ibaji, Kogi, in possession of firearms.Ndubisi Agu,
Ugochukwu Nnadi,
Ani Chigbo,
Onah Chukwuebuka,
Onyeka Okeke,
Okwor Amaefuna,
Orji Anayo
Ofor Ogbonna.
The command said the suspect was arrested with a local pistol and three live cartridges at Okpuje, along Nsukka-Odol-Kogi Road.
